Construction Works at Woodlands Stadium Stopped

Construction works going on at Woodlands stadium premises in Lusaka have been stopped pending an environmental impact assessment.
The Zambia Environmental Management Agency says no works should be undertaken until an assessment is conducted.
ZEMA Principal Communications Officer Ireen Chipili Lungu says only the construction of shop meant for use during AFCON games was allowed.
