Encroachers ‘Eat Up’ Market Land in Lusaka’s Chalala Area

The land reserved for the community market in Lusaka’s Woodlands Chalala area is slowly being taken away by the illegal developers.
The illegal developers have continued building on the said piece of land despite the High Court ruling in favour of the community.
The Lusaka City Council has been delaying to move on site even after the court ruling suggested that the illegal structures be demolished.
