Errol Hickey Interred

Radio phoenix founder, Errol Hickey who died on 26 February 2017 has been put to rest in Lusaka.
The celebration of Mr Hickey’s life started with mass at St Ignatius Catholic Church before burial which took place at Leopards hill memorial park.
Speaking at the Church Service Information Minister, Mulenga Kampamba called on journalists in the country to emulate Mr. Hickey’s ethical conduct during his career.
And FDD Spokesperson, Antonio Mwanza says Mr. Hickey will be remembered for his fight for media freedom in the country.
Among many things, Mr. Hickey will be remembered for pioneering the ‘let the people talk’ program on Radio Phoenix.
