Speaker Tight-Lipped Over Friday’s Parley Confusion.

Speaker of the national assembly Patrick Matibini has remained tight-lipped to give ruling on shunning of parliament by UPND members of parliament last Friday.
Arising from a point of order by Kanchibiya MP Martin Malama on the decision by UPND MPs to shun the president’s address to parliament last Friday, the speaker told the house that he had referred the matter to the privileges committee for further investigation.
And Dr. Matibini has also reserved ruling on whether PF Members of Parliament were in order to sing political songs in the house during the state of the nation address by president Lungu last Friday.
This was after Monze Central MP Jack Mwimbu raised a point of order to seek ruling on the singing of political songs in the house.
