State Warned Against Adjournments In Mpulungu Mukula Case

Mpulungu Magistrate Timothy Kalumba has warned the state against unnecessary adjournments in the case in which some Patriotic Front-PF Officials and other Civil Servants are appearing in court over Mukula deals.

This is in a matter in which PF Councilor Urban Mwansa and Mpulungu District Forestry Officer Charles Nyirongo are appearing in court for theft, false accounting and theft by public servant respectively.

Meanwhile, Northern Province Police Commissioner Richard Mweene has confirmed that investigations have been concluded in the case in which some police officers are involved in Mukula deals.

Seven Police officers from Mpulungu and Mbala districts are still serving their suspensions in line with the same.
