Teacher In Court Over Pupil Defilement

A teacher at Hillside Girls Secondary School in Chipata has appeared in court for allegedly defiling a minor.
Lenox Mutale is alleged to have had canal knowledge in a computer lab with a named 15 year old pupil who is in grade nine at the same school.
Mr. Mutale appeared for mention before magistrate Pauline Mulenga in the Chipata magistrate court.
The matter has since been adjourned to 30th march 2017 for the commencement of trial.
Several teachers from Hillside Girls were seen at the court to give solidarity to their friend.
Meanwhile, according to the medical report the minor was found with some cuts and bruises on her private parts.
The minor is also reported to have been transferred to another school due to victimization from some teachers.
