Underweight Products Worry ZABS

The Zambia Bureau of Standards-ZABS-is saddened with the increase in underweight products and services being sold to members of the public.
ZABS Public Relations Manager, Hazel Zulu says the bureau has since targeted to standardize about 2400 instruments from various sectors of the economy this year.
She says this is in a bid to promote accurate measurements and promote efficiency which will further increase productivity.
Ms. Zulu has appealed to industry players to ensure that instruments used in production that require values are periodically checked and calibrated.
