UNZA Students Protest Delayed Loan Recipients

Some University of Zambia first year students have expressed concern that government through the bursaries committee has delayed to announce the 500 students who are supposed be given loans.
University of Zambia Students Union – UNZASU Vice President Piyo Ndlovu says with the registration period deadline having ended today, the fate of the students remain uncertain.
Mr. Ndlovu however stated that registration period has been extended following discussion with management.
Over 1500 students who were not given loans earlier appealed, but government has disclosed that only 500 students will be considered.
