UPND MPS Shun President Lungu State of The Nation Address In Parliament

UPND members of parliament have shunned the state of the national address by republican president Edgar Lungu.
President Edgar Lungu Friday morning made his presentation on the progress made in the application of national values and principles.
During the address, the president called for National unity, patriotism and a vigorous approach in the fight against corruption.
Meanwhile, the 54 UPND members of Parliament have asked the Lusaka High Court to stay the speakers ruling over boycotting of Parliament.
Speaker of the national assembly Patrick Matibini in December last year ruled that the MPs could be punished severely if they boycotted parliament.
