Copperbelt UPND Demands IG Steps Down

UPND Copperbelt province Chairperson, Elisha Matambo has demanded the resignation of Inspector General of police Kakoma Kanganja before serious tension brews in Zambia.
Mr. Matambo has described the police chief as the worst inspector general the country has ever hard because he has failed to execute his duties.
He alleges that Mr. Kanganja has been getting instructions from PF cadres to arrest citizens with opposing views in the country.
Mr. Matambo added that it was shocking that police raided Mr. Hichilema’s residence in the night breaking property and beating workers in an effort to fish out the opposition leader.
