Kabwe Council ‘Dubiously’ Seeks Funds For Uncompleted Projects

The Kabwe Municipal Council is allegedly asking for the release of K271, 024.00 to Shal-net Limited for the uncompleted health Post under the Constituency Development Fund-CDF.
According to correspondence from the office of the Town Clerk Ronald Daka, the local authority is seeking the authorization of payment from the Ministry of Local Government for a structure which is far from being completed.
This has shocked Kabwe Central Member of Parliament Tutwa Ngulube who claims the entire transaction is littered with corruption.
