Veteran Cyclist Urges Govt To Revamp The Sport

A 64 year old cyclist has appealed to the Ministry of Sports to consider revamping cycling countrywide especially on the Copperbelt.
Robbie Mukokomi is saddened that the sport is dying, the situation he has attributed to lack of promotion.
Mukokomi says government should be able to embrace the growth of minor sports by providing incentives to athletes.
He says if left unchecked, Zambian youths especially on the Copperbelt province will remain unproductive.
