Government Challenged To Enhance Social Protection

Government has been challenged to find resources to enhance social protection.
Zambia Association of Women in Construction Public Relations Officer, Petronela Shiaka, says the Zambia Revenue Authority-ZRA must play a leading role.
Ms. Shiaka also says the cost of advocating for social protection rights must not be slapped on ordinary Zambians.
Meanwhile Alliance for Zambia Informal Economy Association General Secretary, Lameck Kashiwa, has urged the Ministry of Labor to be inclusive when coming up with the social protection bill.
The duo was speaking during a social protection public lecture supported by the International Labor Organisation-ILO.
