Kabwe District Commissioner Charged With Careless Driving

Kabwe District Commissioner, Dominic Mulenga has been charged with careless driving.
This is after the government vehicle, a Toyota Hilux Registration Number GRZ 561CF driven by Mr. Mulenga plunged into the perimeter wall fence at the Provincial Administration, injuring two pedestrians.
Police Spokesperson, Esther Katongo has confirmed the accident describing Mr. Mulenga as an inexperienced driver.
Ms. Katongo says two pedestrians Annie Mumba aged 52 of Chimanimani Township and 65-year-old Regina Mwango of Nakoli compound in Kabwe sustained injuries after being hit by the vehicle.
Ms. Katongo further revealed that Ms. Mwango is currently admitted at Kabwe General Hospital after sustaining suspected fractured pelvis while Ms. Mumba who sustained a fractured leg has been discharged from hospital.
