Kaniki Residents Cry For A Mortuary

Kaniki Ward Councillor Akapella Simataa has urged government to consider constructing a mortuary in the area.

Mr. Simataa says residents are currently transporting the remains of their loved ones to Ndola Teaching Hospital, 23 kilometres away from the area.

He says the challenge of transporting the bodies on the bad Ndola-Mufulira road has come at a great cost as residents are over-charged for the service.
