Lusaka Clients Of Closed Intermarket Bank Protest, Demand Their Money

Clients of closed Intermarket Bank have protested in Lusaka demanding their money.

One of the clients, Owen Phiri, says Intermarket Bank Management promised to pay them after three months following the bank’s closure.

He also says Minister of Finance, Felix Mutati had promised that they would be paid in the second week of April, but to no avail.

Last year in November, the Bank of Zambia took over Intermarket Bank due to the bank’s insolvency.
