NUSFAZ Calls For Protection Of Small Scale Farmers

The National Union of Small Scale Farmers- NUSFAZ has called for the protection of small scale farmers in the wake of this year’s crop bumper harvest.
Union Director General, Frank Kayula says small scale farmers have over the years been exploited by various stakeholders, despite playing a cardinal role in the country’s food security.
Dr. Kayula says the small scale farmers contribute largely towards food security hence the need to protect their interests.
