Typhoid Outbreak Recorded In Lusaka’s Kalingalinga Compound

Typhoid has broken out in Lusaka with three people currently undergoing treatment at Kalingalinga Health Centre.
And Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya has confirmed that five patients are also being treated for Typhoid in Mpika, Muchinga Province following a recent outbreak.
The Minister of Health has since urged members of the public to adopt high levels of hygiene such as handwashing, boiling drinking-water and ensuring surroundings are clean at all times.
