GBV Cases Continue As Lusaka Woman Is Badly Battered

Cases of Gender Based Violence have continued to escalate despite efforts to end the scourge.
In Lusaka, a woman of George Compound has been beaten severely by her husband who has since run away.
Shifla Nachivula was beaten on Saturday night when she returned home from looking for food.
She has told MUVI TV NEWS that her husband Martin Sinyangwe beat her up without giving her chance to explain and later blamed his abusive nature on beer and the cigarettes.
Neighbours have also condemned the violence shifla is subjected to at the hands of her husband.
