Govt’s Delay To Conclude Tripartite Negotiations Angers ZCTU

The Zambia Congress of Trade Unions-ZCTU is disappointed with government’s failure to conclude negotiations with Public Service Unions.
The Labour movement says it is frustrating that negotiations which opened in December 2016 have been adjourned three times, resulting in civil servants doubting their union leaders.
ZCTU Deputy Secretary General,Elaston Njovu says the labour movement is wondering why government has been dragging its feet over the matter.
He says ZCTU is now convinced that government has silently imposed a wage freeze.
