UPND President Hakainde Hichilema has been transferred to Mukobeko prison in unclear circumstances.
The UPND and his family have no information on Mr. Hichilema’s transfer as no communication has been availed to the parties.
According to sources at the prison, Mr. Hichilema was flown from Lusaka at 12:05 hours and landed at Mukobeko Maximum prison in Kabwe at exactly 12:20 hours.
Mr. Hichilema’s wife Mutinta, has wondered why government has failed to communicate to the family on her husband’s transfer.
And party vice president Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba is suspicious about the transfer of Mr. Hichilema questioning whether he is already a convict.
