The Lusaka city council-LCC-has distanced itself from the allocation of plots under ZESCO power lines in Lusaka’s Obama area.
This follows suspected PF cadres claim that a full council meeting approved allocation of plots under the power lines.
The cadres even produced documents alleging that the council meeting was held in March last year.
But LCC Public Relations Manager, MULUNDA HABENZU has told MUVI TV News in a telephone interview that the local authority is not aware of the activities in Obama.
On Wednesday the unruly PF cadres harassed MUVI TV Reporter who went to cover the residents’ complaint regarding the illegal construction under the ZESCO power lines.
