MP Loses Hope In Judiciary After Chief Justice Verdict On Maize Gate Scandal

Kalomo Central Member of Parliament Harry Kamboni says declaring that the Zambia-Malawi maize gate scandal has no merit before it is subjected to investigation gives no hope in the judiciary.
Mr. Kamboni has wondered where citizens may take a grievance if it is determined before a hearing.
He says the judiciary which has been the hope of many in conflict resolution can no longer be trusted as it seems not to be working within the legal framework.
On Thursday Chief Justice Ireen Mambilima said there is no merit in the maize gate scandal.
