Over 30 Top Ndola Council Officials Sent On Forced Leave

Thirty top officials at the Ndola City Council have been sent on forced leave pending investigations.
The officials have been named in the Scandals that will soon be investigated by a combined team of Anti-Corruption Commission and the Drug Enforcement Commission following the suspension of the land agency license for the local authority.
Sources have told MUVI TV NEWS that the investigations are in connection with what is being termed as careless distribution of land in Ndola.
Meanwhile, Ndola Town Clerk Ernest Sumani will be transferred to Chipata, while a number of directors including the one in Engineering have also been transferred.
The Local Government Service Commission held a long meeting on Saturday at which the transfers were made and officials were told to pick their letters on Monday.
