Senior Citizens Bemoan Their Plight

The Senior Citizens Association of Zambia has expressed concern over the plight of one of their own, 83 year old Loyce Mumba who has been spending nights in the cold for almost a year now.
Mrs. Mumba’s house was demolished in an exercise carried by the local authority on allegation that it was illegally built on a land belonging to the office of the President in Zombe Village Lusaka west.
Senior Citizen Association of Zambia Roma Branch Vice Chairperson, Samuel Mweetwa has described Mrs. Mumba current state of affairs as unbearable.
