South African Maid Arrested For Allegedly Trafficking In Cocaine

The Drug Enforcement Commission-DEC has arrested a South African house maid for allegedly trafficking in cocaine.
Zanele Marvis Mpi aged 42 of Port Elizabeth in the Republic of South Africa was intercepted at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport upon arrival from Ethiopia.
The Commission has also arrested a herbalist of Chipata District for trafficking in loose cannabis.
27-year-old Patrick Satala Bwalya of Kalongwezi Area in Chipata District has been arrested for trafficking in loose cannabis weighing 30.6 Kilograms.
The suspect was intercepted at Chinyunyu Check Point in Chongwe District.
Both suspects will appear in court soon.
This is according to a statement issued to MUVI TV NEWS by DEC Public Relations Officer Theresa Katongo.
