Star Times Media Withdraws Case Against Cedar Point Technology

Star Times Media has filed in a notice to discontinue the matter in which it sued Cedar Point Technology trading as Starsat TV for preventing third users from using its brand.
Star Times Media has opted to withdraw the matter after it was granted an interim injunction by the Lusaka High Court to restrain Starsat TV from infringing on the registered trademark of Star Times Media.
High Court Judge Irene Mbewe has ordered Starsat TV not to prevent Top Star from using the brand Star Times nor infringe on Star Times’ registered trade mark whether by itself or agents.
