Wedson Drops Seven Players

Zambia coach Wedson Nyirenda has dropped seven players off the Chipolopolo Boys squad ahead of this weekend’s 2019 Africa Cup Group K qualifier match against Mozambique.
Nyirenda has dropped four midfielders namely Misheck Chaila of Zesco United, Collins Sikombe of Napsa Stars, Clatous Chama of Lusaka Dynamos and Stanley Nshimbi of Red Arrows.
He has also dropped Green Eagles defender Mwila Phiri and strikers Jackson Mwanza of Zesco United and Justin Shonga of Nkwazi Football Club.
Nyirenda says the seven players who have been released from camp will be considered for future assignments.
The match between Zambia and Mozambique will kick off at 15:00hours on Saturday at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola.
