Woman Nabbed For Stealing From ATMS

Police in Chipata have arrested a 40 year old woman for stealing over 26 Thousand Kwacha from an Automated Teller Machines- ATMs.
The woman has been identified as Mary Mwale of Emasdale Police Camp in Lusaka, the wife to inspector Phiri of Lusaka Central Police Station.
Eastern Province Commissioner of Police, Alex Chilufya confirmed the development to Muvi TV news.
He says the suspect was patronizing the ZANACO ATM machine points taking advantage of those of those failing to operate the machine then steal their ATM cards and pin codes to start withdrawing monies at her own time.
The incident occurred between 2nd and 7th June 2017 at Chipata and Lundazi ZANACO ATMs.
The suspect has since been slapped with two counts of theft.
