City Market Traders Call For Thorough Probe into Fire

Traders whose goods were gutted in the Lusaka City Market fire on Tuesday have called for a quick probe into the fire so as to punish anyone found wanting.
One of the affected Traders, Beatrice Ngosa says it is unfortunate that the matter is being politicized instead of finding a solution.
And the traders have refused government’s move to keep traders out of the market while renovations commence.
Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit, DMMU National Coordinator, Patrick Kangwa has told the traders that they may not be allowed into the market during the renovation exercise.
