Civil rights activist welcomes The Arrest of a Man Alleged to Have Strangled His Wife

A civil rights activist has welcomed the arrest of a man alleged to have strangled his wife.
This is despite the complainant Beatrice Sakala saying she has forgiven her husband.
Berlion Chola says police must not entertain a culture where complainants report and withdraw gender based violence cases at will.
Mr Chola says the decision taken by police to take the accused to court after being arrested is commended saying it is key to the fight against gender based violence.
