HH Appeals To Supreme Court In Unlawful Arrest Case

Incarcerated UPND president Hakainde Hichilema has appealed to the Supreme Court against the decision by the High Court to throw out his petition for unlawful arrest.
According to a notice of appeal filed in the Supreme Court, Hichilema and five others are not happy with the high court’sruling.
And the state has opposed to summons by the petitioners to have the constitutional bail petition reopened.
