Newly elected Solwezi Lions Club President Juliet Sakala has pledged to help communities by embarking on initiatives that will eradicate hunger, give hope to the vulnerable in society as well as attend to the increasing cases of diabetes that are on the upswing.
Ms. Sakala says her team will continue with events that will look at cases of environmental protection, youth engagement and care for people with diabetes which impacts a lot on people around the world.
She made the remarks after being installed as new President in Solwezi over the weekend.
And gracing the event was one of the partners Rodin Parker who says he is excited that the Club will be celebrating its hundred years existence in the world and has done a lot to help communities in need.
