Clergy Expresses Concern Over Barring Of UNZA Students

A clergyman has expressed concern over the barring of about 8 Thousand University of Zambia students from writing their exams due to unpaid tuition fees.
Bishop John Mambo says there is need for the students to be given an opportunity to sit for their exams.
He has since called on the University of Zambia management to reconsider the decision.
Bishop Mambo was speaking to MUVI TV News in Lusaka.
About 8 Thousand students owe the institution more than 58 Million Kwacha in unpaid tuition fees with management maintaining that no student will be allowed to write if they do not pay.
