DPP Enters Nolle in Tayali, IG Case

The Director of Public Prosecutions has entered a Nolle Prosequi in a matter in which Economic and Equity Party-EEP leader Chilufya Tayali was accused of defaming Inspector General of Police, Kakoma Kanganja.
Allegations are that Tayali on April 13, 2017 published libellous words against Kanganja on his Facebook page in relation to the Mongu-Limulunga road motor-cade saga that occurred during the Kuomboka Ceremony.
And speaking after his discharge, Tayali says failure by Kanganja to defend himself proves his incompetence.
