LCC Explains Failure To Work On Matero North Drainage

Lusaka City Council has attributed its failure to complete the construction of a drainage in Matero North to financial constraints.
Council Director of Engineering Maliwa Muchuu says the local authority needs a total of Nine Hundred Thousand Kwacha to complete the project.
He says Matero North was among many areas that suffered disaster during the last rain season and resources were not adequate to complete the project.
