Lusaka’s Mtendere East Residents Still Awaiting Relocation

Residents of Lusaka’s Mtendere East Compound have urged government to fulfil its promise to relocate them before the 2017 rain season.
The over 40 families last season has their houses submerged due to heavy rains.
To that effect, government announced that it will consider relocating some families affected by the floods but nothing has happened to date.
