Supply of Expired Medicine Lands Pearl of Health Hospital in Court

Pearl of Health Hospital has been dragged to court for supply of expired medicines.
However, the Hospital Managing Director Professor Ataur Rahman was not present before court to take plea.
A lawyer representing the Hospital Raymond Musumali applied for an adjournment as Professor Rahman was attending a religious activity.
Magistrate Felix Kaoma has adjourned the matter to August 28, 2017.
Particulars in this matter are that on July 19, 2017, the Hospital supplied expired one bottle of Neopeptine Liquid to Patricia Banda Mwiinga without lawful authority.
