Some University of Zambia-UNZA-members of staff who are also students at the institution have threatened to sue management over threats to bar them from writing examinations.
The members of staff say it is unfair for management to ask them to pay tuition fees before sitting for examinationswhen the institution owes them gratuities.
The workers who sought anonymity for fear of being victimized have questioned the Vice Chancellor and management’s rationale.
UNZA management has stated that no student owing the institution tuition fees will be allowed to write examinations, a decision which affects about eight thousand students.
