Collapsed Extended Family System Costing Government

A child Rights Activist says government will continue to accumulate millions of Kwacha to address the problem arising from the collapse of the extended family system.
Godfrey Simukonde says there is urgent need for concerted efforts to discourage the presence of kids on the street.
Mr Simukonde has told MUVI TV NEWS in Livingstone that so far, Four Million Kwacha is required to remove young people from the streets in Lusaka alone.
His comments come after he concluded a survey in Southern Province.
