Continued Distribution of Expired ARVS Saddens TALC

Treatment Advocacy and Literacy Campaign-TALC is worried with the increasing reports of people being given expired Anti-retroviral Drugs-ARVS.
TACL National Director Felix Mwanza says his organisation has so far received 30 reports of people being given expired ARVs countrywide.
He says such reports are disappointing and making people living with HIV lose trust in the ministry in charge of their health.
Mr Mwanza says it is sad that despite all the reports being received the ministry of health is busy disputing instead of withdrawing the expired drugs from the health facilities.
