Govt Continues Denying Issue Of Expired ARV’s

The Ministry of Health has continued denying that some health facilities are dispensing expired Anti-retro viral drugs-ARVS.

This is despite some people living with HIV in Mpulungu and Kazungula confiding exposed the life threatening medical error.

However, Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Dr. Kennedy Malama claims that investigations have revealed that no one has reported having been given expired drugs.

He argues that the drugs with an expiry date of August 2017 have been removed from the shelves and that the ones being administered are expected to expire in November and next year.
