Increasing GBV Cases Worries Teacher Union

A Teacher union is concerned about the increasing cases of Gender Based Violence and sexual abuse in institutions of learning.
Zambia National Union of Teacher General Secretary Newman Bubala says some teachers and learners are opting to stay away from classes for fear of being victims.
He was speaking in Lusaka during a two-day workshop for teachers on GBV.
And Mr. Bubala has further warned teachers to stay away from examination malpractice as exams kicks off this month.
