Zambia – Saudi Arabia Goats Export Program Advances

Zambia is in the next twelve months expected to start exporting processed goat and sheep meat to Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia has requested about one Million goats per month to be exported to that country.
And Government says it will ensure that it facilitates the exports of goats and sheep to Saudi Arabia.
Ministry of Commerce Representative Amos Mumba was speaking during the signing of a memorandum of understanding-MOU-between Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia and Avlow Development Company to ensure the exported goat and sheep that complies with Halal Shariah requirements.
