Amateur Boxing Board Warns Clubs against Enticing Young Boxers to Quit School

Midlands Amateur Boxing Association – MABA says it will ban service clubs that are enticing young boxers still at school and belong to different clubs to join them.
The young boxers are also said to be offered jobs if they quit school.
Speaking to journalist in Lusaka MABA Secretary, Christian Kalima says the association is promoting boxers to go back to school while they are still young.
Kalima says the association will continue to encourage boxers to go back to school.
This comes after Davy Mwila, a grade night pupil of a named boxing promotion was enticed to join one of the service clubs.
