Chelstone Hospital Staff’s Poor Attitude Under Investigation

The Ministry of Health has instituted investigations into alleged negative attitude and poor service delivery at Chelstone Level One Hospital in Lusaka.

Ministry Permanent Secretary Kennedy Malama says appropriate action will be taken against any health worker found wanting.

Dr. Malama says the investigation is extending to other health facilities, but that Chelstone is the first target.

He further reveals that a directive has since been issued to Provincial and District Health Offices to strengthen supervision in health facilities.
