Lusaka Cholera Cases Rise To 69

Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Dr. Kennedy Malama has disclosed that the laboratory results of water samples that were gotten from various parts of Lusaka have revealed that the water is contaminated with the cholera virus.
The Permanent Secretary revealed this when he inspected Bauleni and Kanyama cholera centres.
During the inspection it was discovered that most of the people affected with cholera are children under the age of five years.
He says the number of cholera cases in Lusaka have now reached 69.
