Manyinga’s Kavunga Parents Bemoan Poor Education Standards

Parents in Kavunga community of Manyinga district have cried foul over the standards of education their children are getting owing to inadequate classroom space.

Kavunga School Parents Teachers Association PTA Chairperson Jonas Katiki says only a one by three classroom block has been erected since 1986.

Mr Katiki says the growing population of pupils which is currently at four hundred and three has made it impossible to for the classes to carter for all grades that range from one to nine.

And school Head-teacher Steward Petamoya says the inadequacy of classrooms has compromised the standards of learning hence appealing for government assistance.
