Mongu’s Lyambai Road A Death Trap

The depression on President Avenue popularly called Lyambai road in Mongu’s Boma Area has been described as a death trap by Mongu residents.

The damage has caused the road to be impassable after part of it was washed away by water during the last rainy season.

The depression has now extended to the foundations of houses which are on its sides causing worry among the occupants.

The residents want the depression covered before the onset of the rain season as it has a potential of washing away their houses.
