Panic Grips Ndola Family Over Missing Child

Panic has gripped the mother of a 17-year old boy who went missing at the National Vocational Rehabilitation Centre on Sunday.

Mirriam Chembe now fears for the worst after having no clue regarding the whereabouts of Owen Chembe, an agriculture student at the rehabilitation centre.

Owen suffers from intellectual disability and has challenges in speech.

Centre Principal Mary Lungu says the school is concerned and has reported the matter to police to help with investigations.

Ms Lungu says Owen was reported missing between 16:00 hours and 17:00hours on Sunday and that the school has spread the search to nearby townships such as Twapia, Chifubu and Lubuto.
